Description:

The Inclusive Education Leaders Network Day will provide an opportunity for Leaders to come together. This day will feature presentations led by the Diversity and Inclusion Team with support from the CILAH team with a focus on:

Restrictive Practices and Legislation
What is Behaviour? What is a Behaviour of Concern (BOC)?
Verbal De-escalation
Practical Behaviour Support Tools, and

Standard 3: Plan for and implement effective teaching and learning
Standard 4: Create and maintain supportive and safe learning environments

Standard 7: Engage professionally with colleagues, parents/carers and the community.

Intended Audience: Inclusive Education Leaders (primary/secondary/R-12).

Facilitators: Diversity and Inclusion team with support from the CILAH Team, external providers.

Additional Information: Morning tea and lunch will be provided. Please advise if you have any dietary requirements.
