Intended Audience
Teachers who are NEW* to the role of EALD Lead Teacher
Description
This course assists teachers recently* appointed to specialist EALD positions, to develop understanding of their roles and responsibilities in schools, identify EALD learners, organise effective EALD support and build knowledge of EALD pedagogy.
*Suitable for teachers who have taken on the EALD lead teacher responsibility within the last 1-2 years and those who are new in 2026.
NB: Participation in (Learning English: Achievement and Proficiency) LEAP Levels workshops and data collection related sessions will be in addition to this course and require separate registration.
Certificates of attendance will be provided after the second workshop.
This workshop will take place over 2 half days and participation at both days is required
