    Please Note:  Schools are encouraged to think carefully about their training needs and forward staff planning before registering. In the past, there have been late withdrawals where registrations were made without full consideration, which has unfortunately limited access for other schools.

    These MultiLit Professional Learning offerings are exclusive to CESA schools and are provided at a significantly reduced cost to schools.  Final registrations are provided to MultiLit to facilitate direct registration between the nominated staff member and MultiLit.

    This workshop will be run by MultiLit.  Professional Development Workshops cover the practical implementation and delivery of the program. Training is compulsory prior to the implementation of the program, to ensure quality of delivery.

    DIBELS – Administration and Data Collection Workshop 


    Description

    This professional learning session supports schools participating in the CESA DIBELS Collection and Dashboard. It is designed for teachers and Education Support Officers who are new to the DIBELS assessment process, as well as schools newly participating in the CESA collection.  Participants will build capability in:  

    • Understanding the purpose of DIBELS testing to identify and monitor early literacy development and inform instruction. 

    • Administering and scoring DIBELS assessments. 

    • Recording data accurately for the CESA DIBELS Collection Template and Dashboard.  

    • Introduction to Progress Monitoring testing. 

    The session emphasises consistency, fidelity, and data accuracy to support effective case management and data-informed decision making at the school level.

    Microsoft Learning Accelerators - Reading Coach & Reading Progress


    Description

    Give your students engaging, individualised reading fluency practice. Reading Coach is a Microsoft AI powered learning accelerator that provides guidance on the correct pronunciation and syllabification, visuals to help vocabulary recall, and positive reinforcement when students pronounce words correctly.

    Track students reading skills, give educators actionable insights quickly, and focus students on specific areas for improvement with Reading Progress. By streamlining the reading assignment creation, review, and analysis process, educators can spend more of their time on action instruction.
