PRIMA Presents

Unpacking the Resurrection Narratives

PRIMA warmly invites you to gather for a rich day of learning and shared practice as we explore the Resurrection narratives with Fr Michael Trainor, lecturer at Australian Catholic University.

Fr Michael is a respected Scripture scholar and experienced educator who brings both deep theological insight and knowledge to his work. His presentations support participants in developing a deeper theological understanding and strengthen their approach to teaching Scripture within Catholic schools.

Throughout the day, Fr Michael will guide us in unpacking the Resurrection story, helping us deepen our understanding of this central Christian mystery and how we bring it to life in our classrooms.

We are also pleased to announce that Sr Joanne from Pauline Books and Media will be coming over from Melbourne for this day with some resources to purchase.

When: Monday March 23, 2026

Where:  Grange Surf Life Saving Club | 497 Esplanade, Grange

Time: 9:00am – 3:00pm

As there is no SRELA Day this term, Secondary religious leaders are also warmly invited to attend.

Participants are encouraged to bring along any resources they have used in their school context to unpack the Resurrection, as there will be time set aside for sharing of resources.

Coffee/tea, morning tea, and lunch provided

We look forward to our first gathering of the year.

  • No cost to PRIMA members
  • Non-PRIMA Members will be invoiced for $30

Participants will be able to use this day as a System Accredited Module with the completion of a 1500-word reflection paper.
